Taxation is our civic duty

Club Birth

The need for a tax advocacy platform at the University of Ibadan informed the creation of the Club in the last quarter of 2016 with eight founding members. The Club seeks primarily to educate and sensitize students, young business owners, and small and medium enterprises on the operational aspect of taxation as a regulatory framework.

Club Target Audience

Students of the University of Ibadan, other University Students, and the Society at Large.

The students of the University of Ibadan forms the core of our primary target audience. We believe that arming the students with the knowledge of taxation and raising tax awareness as much as we can within our local community will go a long way in influencing a tax conscious society.

We also believe that other university students and the society at large can get benefits from our primary objective which is to create tax awareness, by simplifying complex areas of tax on our social media pages so that "the ordinary man is tax aware".

Club Incubation & Growth
